Charlie alongside his wife, Stephanie, founded Buss Professional Corporation (BussCPA) in November 2019 after six successful years as a partner at his previous public accounting firm. Previous to that experience, Charlie spent nine years at another accounting firm. During the time at his previous firms, he obtained a wealth of practical experience in all aspects of public accounting. Charlie focuses on providing tax, accounting, assurance and advisory services to privately held corporations operating in various industries. These industries include but are not limited to: professional practices (medical, legal, optometry and accounting), financial services, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, wholesale, retail and real estate. Charlie is focused on providing his clients with practical and proactive advice and assisting them with their compliance and advisory needs. 

Charlie graduated from Brock University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours, Co-op option) degree. After graduating from Brock, he successfully passed all of the required CPA, CA professional exams and received his CPA, CA designation in 2009. Charlie has completed all three levels of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada’s (CPA Canada) In-Depth tax course.

In his spare time, Charlie enjoys spending time at the cottage with Stephanie and their two children. Charlie is also an active golf and curling member at Mississaugua Golf and Country Club.
